Material and treatment
Low‑carbon stainless steel, widely recognised for its hygienic properties and excellent corrosion resistance, also suitable for outdoor environments. Due to its chemical composition, stainless steel does not oxidise or rust when exposed to water and air. The natural protective film of stainless steel ensures long‑term resistance and allows restoration over time. CEA products are manufactured using mechanical processes that preserve the material characteristics. The steel is not chrome‑plated or galvanically treated, maintaining ecological, recyclable and highly hygienic properties.

Special finish treatments, performed on request, are based on high‑thickness deposition of powder mixtures (zirconium and graphite) with evaporation processes in sealed chambers (plasma). These treatments increase surface resistance to detergents and saline air and improve scratch resistance; the Black Diamond version also reduces limescale deposits. Colour variations or shading derive from the processing and oxygenation in contact with air and are not considered production defects.
