The special finish treatments, produced on customer request, result from careful colour selection and technological development based on high‑thickness deposition of zirconium and graphite powder blends. Through an evaporation process in sealed (plasma) chambers these powders condense and solidify, making the stainless steel surface more resistant to cleaning agents and saline air and providing scratch resistance. In the Black Diamond version the surface also resists lime deposits thanks to a self‑lubricating characteristic that helps keep the product cleaner for longer. CEA special finishes enhance the stainless steel’s properties, increasing both shine and resistance. All CEA special finishes are ecological and biocompatible.
Colour variations or shading are not production defects but a characteristic of the finishing process that preserves the material’s biocompatibility and ecological nature. Chromatic shifts, perceived as tone gradations, may occur due to material oxygenation on contact with air, notably in BRONZE and COPPER finishes. The colour shift gives the product greater depth and a more natural effect.
