Overview
The MAGNUM decoupling concept combines a thin decoupling membrane (MDM) with an electric heating cable (MDC) to deliver precise, evenly distributed floor heating while isolating the floor finish from substrate movement. The system protects finished floors from moisture and prevents substrate cracks from transmitting to the tile layer. Its low total height makes it suitable for both new builds and renovation projects where build-up is limited.

Complete sets
Delivered as kits covering 1.5 to 7.5 m² with an MRC2 Wi‑Fi thermostat (white or black) for fast installation, or as individual components for custom areas.

Easy installation

• The MAGNUM Decoupling Cable (MDC) is clipped into the membrane channels and immediately embedded with tile adhesive or leveling mortar for efficient heat transfer.
• Decoupling mats suit solid, level wooden and concrete substrates and reduce risk of tile damage from structural movement or minor substrate irregularities.

Variable power output
The system supports variable output depending on cable spacing (typical range 150 W/m² down to 113 W/m²), allowing specification of heat density per room to meet thermal requirements and improve energy performance.
