Electric underfloor heating MAGNUM

Description
The MAGNUM heating cable is specifically designed for installation in floors with exposed concrete finishes but is also suitable for other floor coverings. Cable spacing determines the power per m², allowing selection of higher power (faster response, higher temperatures) or lower power (more stable or lower temperatures). The cable's flexibility enables fast and simple installation. MAGNUM cable is fixed with spacer strips for direct installation on the screed or insulation board, aluminum tape over Isorol MAGNUM insulation, or cable ties on reinforcement mesh.

Availabilities
Heating cables are available in 10 W/m and 17 W/m versions with power ratings from 100 to 3300 W, covering areas from 1 to 50 m². The MAGNUM heating cable is not suitable for use in lightweight concrete.

Example to calculate cable spacing
To calculate the correct cable spacing, divide the free floor area in m² by the total required power. Multiply the result by 17 (watts per meter of cable). The first two digits after the decimal point correspond to the required cable spacing in centimetres. Examples for a heating system:
500 W of cable on 3 m²: (3 m² ÷ 500 W) × 17 W/m = 0.102 → Install cable at 10 cm
1000 W of cable on 7 m²: (7 m² ÷ 1000 W) × 17 W/m = 0.119 → Install cable at 11–12 cm
