Description
CLIMAPLUS® SCREEN is a range of insulating double glazing from Saint‑Gobain Glass integrating aluminium venetian blinds between the two panes. The blinds are liftable and tiltable to provide solar protection and privacy. They are available with manual or electric operation depending on the version and are protected inside a hermetic cavity to prevent dust and oxidation.

Practical and aesthetic, CLIMAPLUS® SCREEN suits many applications in new build and renovation:

• Interior partition glazing (in this case, enhanced thermal insulation and solar control coated glass may not be required).

Compatibilities and options
CLIMAPLUS® SCREEN can be combined with solar control coated glass (e.g. ECLAZ® for residential or COOL‑LITE® for commercial). Options can be combined with safety (STADIP® PROTECT), acoustic (STADIP® SILENCE) and easy‑clean (BIOCLEAN®) functions.

Installation and constraints
Used on fixed vertical frames, sliding frames and vertical opening sash frames (including single or double casement, tilt‑and‑turn or Italian‑style with maximum 15° opening from vertical). The glazing is installed with a rebate bite on all four sides. A full project study is required to size the glazing according to geographic location and building characteristics.

• CLIMAPLUS® SCREEN C: version with external frame control (manual or external motorised) avoiding glazing penetration via a magnetic mechanism; control by switch or remote, manual slat orientation by cord, rod or knurled knob depending on the case.
• Manufacturing and durability: CEKAL‑certified assembly; hermetic cavity protecting the blind (preventing oxidation). Component reliability (motor and accessories) tested over many cycles.
