Texlon® ETFE roof system AQUAPARK DI CONCOREZZO

Situated in the Province of Monza eBrianza, AcquaWorld is Italy’s first indoor water park open all year round. It boats over one kilometre of slides and more than 12 swimming pools in six individual areas including: Adventure World, Fun World, Relax World, Kids World, Summer World and Risto World. A complex design by Stering Srl, Milan, AcquaWorld comprises of three inter-leading domes which are elegantly clad in 2,325 m² of Texlon® ETFE inflated panels. Supported by asymmetrically shaped plywood beams, the glulam structure is fitted together at different sections by secondary supporting beams. The Texlon® ETFE roof incorporates 48 inflated panels with a top fritted layer offering optimal solar shading and exceptional light transmission whilst protecting the guests from the elements.
