OverviewSolar control glass. Variety of appearances and ease of installation. The range includes solar control glazings characterized by durability (suitable for single glazing with the coating on face 2) and ease of processing (can be tempered, bent, enamelled or laminated). Visible light transmission for the range is approximately 67 % to 21 % with solar factor varying from 0.69 to 0.30.
Applications- Outer face of double-skin ventilated or ventilating façades.
- Sashes in single laminated glazing with the coating against the PVB interlayer.
- Skylights and roofs (for the most sun-protective products, e.g. COOL-LITE® ST 120).
- Windows and glazed openings to preserve daytime privacy by their reflective or slightly reflective appearance.
- Interior fittings: balustrades, all-glass doors, shower screens, etc.
Benefits- Adjustable additional solar protection (from very high to very moderate) while maintaining natural light admission.
- Range of appearances (neutral to slightly reflective, neutral reflective, blue slightly reflective depending on reference).
- High freedom of use thanks to durability and ease of processing.
PerformanceIndicative values for glazing assembled in insulating glass 6-16-4 with 90% Argon fill and solar control coating placed on face 2 (calculation according to EN 673 and EN 410):

* Values given according to standards EN 673 and EN 410 calculated with 90% Argon fill. Solar control glass with coating on face 2 mounted in insulating glass composition 6-16-4.
Range- Monolithic glass available in thicknesses 6, 8, 10 mm.
- Common dimensions: 6000 x 3210 mm.
- Other thicknesses or dimensions on request.
Processing- Suitable for tempering or hardening.
- Laminatable into safety laminated glass, including with the coating in contact with the PVB interlayer.
- Bending (curving).
- Enamelling or screen printing (enamel application possible on the side opposite the coating or on the coating side with some restrictions).
Instructions for useProducts in the range can be used in single glazing with the coating on face 2 oriented toward the interior of the building. They can also be assembled in insulating glass with the solar control coating on face 2 together with a low-emissivity coating on face 3. ST and STB coatings do not require edge deletion before IGU assembly. Such insulating glass units benefit from CEKAL certification. Environmental and Health Declaration Sheets (FDES) are available in the product documentation.
