Directly on the Mittlerer Ring, a new, colossal landmark is being constructed in the form of Uptown München in the northwest region of the city. This high-rise building with its 38 storeys and a construction height of 145 m will be the highest office building in the city.
Scope of Work
A façade area of approx. 22,000 sqm, subdivided into a panellised metal/glass façade, entrance, sky garden and vertical building head façade with adjoining glass roof, in addition to a canopy construction on the ground floor. Each second façade axis features a circular parallel hook-out window (700 mm diameter) for ventilation purposes in the panel centre. The inside of the façade features a solar control curtain. This serves as a sunscreen in the lower area, whilstallowing daylight to enter the room in the upper area. The façade is arched in the corner areas of the building.
