The Dubai Festival City Development is a world class waterfront lifestyle resort running along the Dubai Creek, bringing some of the finest shopping, dining, entertainment, residential, school, hotel, office and leisure facilities together in one place. This project consists of the Festival Tower - a 34-story office tower with waterfront boutiques and double volume executive suites - and the 37-story InterContinental Hotel featuring 500 exquisitely designed rooms, including 121 suites, 3 presidential apartments and one royal suite. The external envelope of unitized curtain wall panels is enhanced with aluminum fins and sunshades. The blue-green coated glass is combined with creamcolored aluminum composite panels to give the façade color. Scope of Work 45,000 sqm (484,400 sq ft) of unitized curtain wall.
