The 7-story building stands in the Giesing district of Munich. While chiefly housing office premises, the complex also includes a residential component and nursery school.
Scope of Work
The façade composition on the middle storeys features 8,000 sqm of ribbon windows with folded and plane sheet spandrels. The ground, first and sixth floors are enclosed by some 6,000 sqm of aluminium stick system curtain walling, partly with glass spandrels. The window units have manually openable tilt-and-turn casements and crank handle operated fanlights. The stair cores are clad with large aluminium sections. A steel assembly with motorized top-hung windows is adopted for some parts of the façade (approx. 400 sqm). The flat, folded and Z-formed sheet cladding covers an area of 7,500 sqm
