Devon’s new world headquarters is a 52-story office tower. Its unique three-sided footprint can be viewed from all of greater Oklahoma City. The façade features vertical glass fins, vertical and horizontal accent tubes, cable wall, stainless steel column covers, glass-and-stainless steel canopies, and exterior integrated lighting. The tower’s curtain wall is composed of state-of-the-art continuous floor-to-ceiling glazing and a highly articulated mullion system. The uppermost portion of the tower tapers slightly which enhances its proportions, producing an elegant form. The focal point at the base of the tower is a six-story cylindrical glass rotunda which serves as primary entrance and connecting hub for the entire complex. The project has been registered with the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (LEED) program in the intent to achieve Gold LEED certification.
