Description

Project Feature The Carlton tower is the highest building in Almere and the tallest component of the Almere L'Hermitage, the business center that adds a spectacular element to the Almere skyline. It is located to the north of Almere Central Station and close to WTC Martinez Building. The office façades are curtain wall panels with the dimensions 1.8 m x 3.6 m each panel. The elements have 2.2 m high clear glass. At the spandrel area the curtain wall has glass with a full screen print and on the inside a coated sheet. Each element has a bottom hung window. The corners of the curtain wall consist of stepped glass without aluminum profiles. The upper two levels and the front façade have no intermediated mullion or spandrel area. Parts of the curtain wall have red colored aluminum fins. The bottom rows of the façade panels have a red stone at the spandrel area. The ground floor façade is a stick-system which is connected/supported at multiple levels to the primary steel structure. Scope of Work 21,000 sqm (226,000 sq ft) of cladding and curtain wall.
