Description
The Metos Viking 100E is a floor-mounted tilting steam-jacketed kettle manufactured in Finland for professional kitchens. Temperature is set in the steam jacket; the maximum jacket temperature corresponds to +120°C. The unit is securely fixed to the floor and designed to meet applicable national and EU safety standards. The control panel is ergonomically raised and angled toward the operator and has IPX4 protection. Parts exposed to soiling are removable without special tools and are dishwasher-safe. Thermal insulation with reflective foam reduces heat loss and delivers up to 90% energy efficiency. The pouring-spout height to floor is 400 mm, suitable for decanting trolleys.

Control panel
The large control panel is ergonomically raised and angled toward the user. The electromechanical controls include temperature and mixing-tool settings plus an emergency stop. Operation uses a simple turn-and-select logic.

Heating function
Temperature range 0°C…120°C in the steam jacket. Heating is selected by a dial with settings 1 to 6. Maximum operating pressure 1.0 bar (corresponds to +120°C in the inner jacket). Design pressure of Viking kettles is 1.5 bar.

Tilting functions
Electric tilting is powerful and durable and operates at the press of a button. Tilting height from the pouring spout to the floor is 400 mm, suitable for use with decanting trolleys.

Occupational safety
The kettle tilts only when the tilt button is operated and includes emergency stop controls for user protection.
