KNX I/O module EK-CG2-TP

Description
The Ekinex® EK-CG2-TP universal interface is a KNX device that can operate as inputs and/or outputs. The device provides 4 configurable inputs and 4 control outputs for driving low-power LEDs.

Inputs

• Each input can be individually configured to connect to the KNX bus: switches, push-buttons or conventional (non-addressable) sensors, or binary signals from other devices to command and control KNX functions
• Passive temperature probes (NTC 10 kΩ at 25°C). Measured ambient temperature can be sent on the bus or used for local climate control via the integrated thermostat function

The input channel interrogation voltage is generated internally. The device includes an integrated KNX communication module and is designed for flush wall mounting or on a 35 mm DIN rail using a support. Power is supplied via the KNX bus; no auxiliary supply is required.

Delivery scope
The package includes a terminal block for connection to the bus line. NTC temperature probes for channels configured as analog inputs must be ordered separately.

Accessories
Mounting support for 35 mm DIN rail (code EK-SMG-35) and spring for mounting on the rear of Ekinex® wall devices (code EK-MAR-...) are available separately.

Configuration and commissioning
A detailed description of parameters is provided in the device application manual. ETS5 or later is required for configuration and commissioning. Application program for ETS: APEKCG2TP##.knxprod (## = version).
