DescriptionThe Ekinex® EK-IF1-SEC-TP IP router provides bidirectional data communication between a PC (or laptop) and a KNX TP bus via a LAN. The IP interface supports tunneling and enables addressing, parameterization, monitoring, logging and diagnostics of KNX bus devices via ETS. The router integrates a line/area coupler function so telegrams can be exchanged between KNX TP lines over a TCP/IP backbone. The device includes an integrated KNX bus communication module and is designed for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting. Power is supplied via the KNX bus.
Technical data- Supply via KNX bus (21–30 Vdc)
- Current consumption: 20 mA from KNX bus
- Up to 8 simultaneous KNXnet/IP connections
- Extended main group filter 0..31
- Operating temperature: -5 … +45 °C
- Relative humidity: 5–93% non-condensing
Functions / Features- Plastic enclosure
- Programming push-button and LED on the front
- LED indicators for device status and bus/Ethernet traffic
- Buttons for activating special functions
- KNX bus connection via KNX terminal
- Ethernet connection via RJ45 connector
- 35 mm DIN-rail mounting (according to EN 60715)
- Device width: 1 modular unit (1 MU = 18 mm)
